I found some yummy mandarin soap at Marshall's months ago and had it in my powder room (though I keep no powder in there?). All gone, no more. I couldn't refill it with regular soap, people would be thinking "she got ripped off, this doesn't smell like oranges". Since we have a twenty month old who loves to wash her hands and many of our friends have little ones that use our powder room...and the soap is on a small pedestal sink...the dispenser can't be breakable. So I found the most adorable soap dispenser here. Problem solved. I made my own print on Microsoft Word and took it to my local Staples to turn into a transparency. After a little Goo-Gone, soap refill I already had, and a $1 transparency I love my soap. All for the bargain price of one buck. Oh Yeah!!
Yummy smell, all gone...
Simple directions:
- Find a soap dispenser you like, that you can see through!
- De-gunk it with Goo Gone or something similar.
- Make a transparency (on a laser printer...not an ink jet) and trim close to words. Make sure you measure your soap dispenser for the width and height of your artwork.
- Roll up your transparency and slide into your bottle, smooth out and position with the pump.
- Fill up with soap and you are D-O-N-E!
Today I am participating in Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch.
